Birmingham airport is situated in the centre of the UK motorway network and is accessible from all major UK cities. It is located 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre.

Birmingham Airport to London by Bus ...

 
Local buses stop outside the passenger terminals and provide connections with the city centre and the surrounding districts.

The 900 Airport Link bus operates between the airport terminals and the city centre every approximately every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Birmingham Airport to London by Taxi ...

 
There is an official taxi rank outside the Airport Terminals where Black Cabs provides a 24 hour service. Each taxi carries up to 5 people with luggage and are able to take wheelchairs also.

Fares are per vehicle but there are small surcharges for additional passengers or for items of luggage not carried in the seating area. The typical fare to Birmingham City Centre is about £16.

For longer journeys the price should be agreed before the start of the journey and a price guide to major destinations is also displayed at the taxi rank.

All Black Cabs accept major credit cards and provide receipts. This is the only company operating out of this airport which is licensed to operate without prior bookings from travellers.

Birmingham International railway station is linked directly to the airport passenger Terminals by SkyRail trains .

The SkyRail train is free and runs about every 2 minutes. The journey takes less than 2 minutes.
